Through Resolution no. 235/2026, the Regional Government of Madeira has authorized a development and cooperation protocol with the Funchal Mountain Club. The objective is to support the execution of the MIUT - Madeira Island Ultra Trail 2026 project, which takes place between April 22 and 26.
The financial support, which will not exceed 100,000.00 EUR, aims to strengthen the attractiveness of the Madeira destination for sports tourism. The event is globally recognized and is part of elite circuits in the sport, contributing to the international promotion of the Madeira brand.
