The Regional Government Council, through Resolution no. 246/2026, has authorized the signing of a program contract with the Casa do Povo de Santa Cruz. This measure aims to co-finance the costs of organizing the "Sons e Sabores da Madeira" event, to be held during 2026.
The financial support granted will not exceed the amount of 11,150.00 EUR. The program contract is effective from the date of its signing until December 31, 2026, with the Regional Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries responsible for its execution.
This decision is based on the importance of preserving and promoting the region's rural and agricultural traditions, acknowledging that the institution's own revenues are insufficient to cover all expenses inherent to the initiative.
